It's been scorching hot here for the last couple of weeks, but the weather is finally turning to cooler degrees. My poor garden is looking rather droopy by lack of rain at the moment.
But what to wear now that bikini and shorts are no longer an option? In my closet I found this thrifted dress:

It had a smallish stain on the skirt, but it came out in the wash. I then proceeded to use my new gadget:

It's a handheld steamer from Swedish The Steamery, and I love it! No more boring ironing for me! (I'm joking of course; ironing is still very important.)
I gave my li'l black dress a good steam and then tried it on. It fits perfectly! Don´t think that's happened before. The sleeves are a tad long, and I'll definitely shorten them at some point, but for now I simply rolled them up a bit and I'm ready for yet another day working from home, seeing on-one :-(
Perhaps a trip to the pharmacy is called for to show off my new frock?
With the breezy lightweight fabric, knee-length skirt and longer sleeve-length, it's perfect for transitioning from summer to fall. And it has pockets!
